Young researches in the field of inter- and transdisciplinary Gender Studies can apply for a visitor's stay at Margherita von Brentano Center, provided that their work specifications fit to the current research topics and -focus of the center:

- Knowledge Production, Power and Gender Relations in Academia and Beyond
- Digital Transformations, Gender Equality and Inclusiveness
- Feminist, Diversity and Intersectional Politics

Residencies at Freie Universität Berlin
Freie Universität Berlin offers international (young) researchers the opportunity to research and work at Freie Universität as guest researchers. You can obtain more information from the responsible Division of International Affairs.
By means of our "Database for Gender Studies", you will find researchers in the field of Gender Studies at the respective departments/central units of Freie Universität Berlin to whom you can refer by yourself.

Residencies within the framework of a fellowship of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Foundation
The Alexander-von-Humboldt-Foundation offers various funding programs to carry out a research stay in Germany. The Margherita von Brentano Center offers itself as an academic host institution for the following funding programs:
Humboldt Research Fellowship for postdoctoral fellows and experienced researchers (all countries excluding Germany and Brazil). Deadline: The Selection Committee responsible for reviewing applications to this programme meets every March, July and November. Please send your completed application form, including any additional documents required, four to eight months in advance of the desired selection date. There is a possibility of postponement to a later selection meeting.
German Chancellor Fellowship for prospective leaders (Brazil, China, India, South Africa, USA) Deadline: 15 October
Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Sustainable Development (developing and emerging countries according to OECD (excluding PR China and India). Deadline: The Selection Committee responsible for reviewing applications to this programme meets every February, June and October. Please send your completed application form, including any additional documents required, four to eight months in advance of the desired selection date. There is the possibility of postponement to a later selection meeting.*If you are interested in having the Margherita von Brentano Center serve as your academic host institution, please contact us at least 2 months before the application deadline. Applications at short notice will not be considered.*
