The Gender Studies Database is a resource maintained by the Margherita von Brentano Center (MvBZ) and providing various compilations of data on Women’s and Gender Studies as a digitally organized, fully searchable database system and platform.

By establishing this digital information infrastructure, the MvBZ aims to promote the development and coordination of interdisciplinary and international networks and structures.

The online portal is located at www.database.mvbz.org (available in German) and consists of four databases:

• Research Projects in the field of Gender Studies at Freien Universität Berlin
• Researchers in the field of Gender Studies at Freien Universität Berlin
• Professorships Fully or Partly Devoted to Women’s and Gender Studies at German-Speaking Universities (available in German)
• Database of Reviewers in the field of Gender Studies (as part of Open Gender Plattform)
