Dr. Sagi Schäfer is an assistant professor of Modern German History at Tel Aviv University. He is also an activist against sexualized violence and other forms of power abuse, working, among others, within the framework of Academia for Equality (https://en.academia4equality.com/) and Netzwerk gegen Machtmissbrauch in der Wissenschaft (https://www.netzwerk-mawi.de/en/the-network). During the academic years 2022/23 and 2023/24 he will be based in Berlin and partake in the activities of the Margherita von Brentano Zentrum at the FU. In the fall semester 2023/24 he will teach a seminar based on the experiences of victims of Sexualized violence in academia.
