Monica Fioravanzo (summer term 2024)
Prof. Dr. Monica Fioravanzo is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Sciences at University of Padova (Italy), where she teaches Contemporary History, Journalism’s History and History of Contemporary Europe. She holds a PhD in Social European History at the University of Venice. Her research addresses the interaction between gender and the media in the Sixties and in the Seventies in Italy, France and in the two Germanies. She studied the relations between UDI, the Italian communist female organization, and the DFD, the female organization of GRD. Now she is developing a new research on African American women's feminist movements and their influence on the European feminist movement.
