As part of the International Month 2026, on 25 June, researchers and visiting scholars at Freie Universität Berlin share insights into their current research projects. The central question is what feminist resistance within academia looks like today – and what it means to pursue politically committed research under increasingly difficult conditions.
Programme
The event features a series of short presentations by international scholars working across a broad range of topics in Gender Studies. Each participant is invited to reflect on how their own research makes feminist resistance visible, challenges it, or embodies it – and what practices, solidarities, and forms of knowledge are needed to sustain politically engaged scholarship today.
