The Margherita von Brentano Center for Gender Studies is a central facilities unit of Freie Universität Berlin with an interdisciplinary and international focus.
The central tasks of the MvBZ are the development and implementation of innovative measures to promote, network and publicize gender studies at Freie Universität Berlin. In addition, the MvBZ promotes, supports and realizes gender and diversity-related teaching and research projects in gender studies. The MvBZ offers students and researchers the opportunity for academic exchange and cooperation in workshops and events.
